Friday September 29

Tour of George C. Marshall High School

3:30 pm

Attire: Comfortable. Meet promptly at 3:30 pm in front of the high school. Tour should take about an hour. School gets out at 3:00 pm. Tour will be led by one of the current school administrators.


Drop In Mixer at Embassy Suites

5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Attire: Casual. Cash bar. Drinks are free until 7:00 pm for those staying at Embassy Suites Friday night. There will be limited food available to order.

Saturday September 30

Breakfast at Embassy Suites

7:00 am - 9:00 am

Full buffet breakfast only available and free for those staying at Embassy Suites Friday Night

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Attire: Casual +. Passed hors d’oeuvres from 6-7 pm. Dinner served family style at the table starting at 7 pm. Gary Smallwood will be providing 60’s & 70’s music during this time. Cash bar will be available. Please note: although the cash bar will take credit cards, using credit cards will drastically slow things down. We highly recommend that you BRING CASH for the cash bar. We will try to arrange or coordinate transportation from Embassy Suites if needed (more info to come).

Sunday October 1

Picnic at Nottoway Park in Vienna

12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Attire: Comfortable. As part of our “Senior Citizen Outreach Program”, we will come together with the GCM Class of 1971, who is belatedly celebrating their 50th Reunion the same weekend as our reunion, for a Sunday picnic. Bring your own food and drinks (this is not a pot luck). Tables, grills and restrooms available. FYI: There is a Wawa at the corner of Nutley and Maple Ave (Rt 123), one half mile from Nottoway Park, as well as a Giant and Whole Foods along Maple Ave in downtown Vienna.


As per park regulations, no alcohol is allowed.
